MPHunter
Just bought a Weber kettle grill and gonna do some ribs this weekend on it. I know how to bbq ribs. I've done a bunch on my CharGriller charcoal grill and my gas grill and have those dialed in. I'm looking for tips for the Weber kettle. How much charcoal to start? Tips on controlling temp, etc. I've read some stuff online and YouTube videos but would love to hear what you're experiences are. turkeyfeathers
Have temperature gauge for it ? Thinking 3/2/1 at 225. Starting with a full chimney of charcoal
MPHunter
Yup. Decided on dumping a half chimney of lit coals on top of a half chimney of unlit coals. An hour in and temp is about 290. Should drop some over next few hours. A little high but OK for baby backs. They will just cook a little faster. Maybe 2-2-1Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
