Read this on Bowsite as the father is a member there. I’ve hunted wolves and they are a special special creature. This wolf was sick or something though the biologists said

Odd story , he regretted kicking the wolf ? I’ve canoed and camped Canada from Quebec to the Yukon,but never without a loaded 12 ga . 

Also,keep a clean camp never cook in camp or sleep in clothes you cook in .

Sounds like the wolf was sick and it’s on his last few hours.

It wasn't sick, just old.  Wolves, like grizzlies, go for easy prey when they are too old to hunt the hard way.  This isn't the first wolf attack in Canada.  Just the first in one of their national parks.  They've had others in smaller parks.

With wolves around, there will be old ones that will be dangerous.  Anyone spending time in these areas should be armed and ready to defend themselves if needed.  Canada is stupid to prevent people from defending themselves.
