Interesting pics. I've often wondered why a huntable population of moose cannot seem to be established.

15 years ago there were no moose in New York.  In a short time the population is over 700 animals, all on their own.  This majestic beast is making a comeback, perhaps someday will be robust enough to hunt.  Until then I will be hunting them with a camera - I can't wait to see NY Moose in the wild myself.

Just keep them in the Adk. I really do not want to hit one with my car.

12 car-moose accidents in the ADKs last year alone I heard.  Not good, given their size and height.

Each year I have pics of calves also.

I think hunting them is a political can of worms...  But we do have quite a few on this property.
