oapiastos88
Hows it going guys. I always seem to have this problem every year.. when is the predicted rut dates this year for New York and what the best way to hunt it. Are you guys doing all day Sits or splitting the day up. Cedar+Canvas
I haven’t seen any predictions but there’s pre-rut activity going on in my area of the Adirondacks. Rubbing and scraping and lots of visitors to our mock scrapes. I’m guessing another two weeks and we’ll be in full swing. I like to cover as much ground as possible in the rut and focus heavily on travel corridors. I’ll sit preset watch for an hour max and then move on, still hunting to the next watch.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Robhuntandfish
I always just plan on being off as much as possible the first two weeks of Nov.
Nytracker
I'm off 4 through the 12. Depending on weather it will start early morning and afternoon. If the cameras say midday movement it will be all day sits . Windy wet weather I will stalk just below leeward ridges and thick bottoms .
