Puerto Rico, Isla del Encanto, Iguana Invasion.  Invasive Species, estimate by US Fish and Wildlfe biologists, 6-8 Million. Average weight of an adult Iguana, 7-13 pounds. Hunted relentlessly with air rifles only. Conventional firearms are illegal to use. Shooting range: 25-50 yards. Devestating agricultural losses due to voracious appetites of the Iguanas. What a bloody ecological, agricultural/ environmental mess.

A year, or so ago I read about iguana hunting with airguns in Puerto Rico. Looked like fun

Turned into quite a business. Farmers are screaming for hunters to shoot the Iguanas.

An iguana would make a great mount. That reminds me that years back I was given a  pretty big dead lizard , which I mounted. I thought that it came out pretty good and guess my old coon hound thought so too because she chewed up and even  ate a bit of it. I figured that it'd kill the old girl, but she didn't even get sick.

That would be kind of cool go to the  beach  then hunting and I bet they taste like chicken .
