Poor jake

I have this jake coming to the bird feeder every day. Poor guy is missing his foot. He must have a hard time roosting at night with only 1 foot to hold on with. He must have lost it due to a predator , a trap or a birth defect. I can't think of any other explanation. The flock he's with doesn't really harass him , as he knows he's at the bottom of the pecking order.

I don't have a picture, but I remember a friend had a chicken that was missing both feet, supposedly it had gotten frostbite. Maybe the same case here?

I once had a parrot that had two club feet....He would wrap his penis around his perch to sit up there...

Then one day my wife and I got romantically involved  on the couch  near his cage with him watching..

He got an erection, fell off his perch and broke his neck  !!
