I was about 9 when I once told my businessman father that JFK was a good president.  His reaction was bewilderment and he asked who told me that?  I informed him my school teacher did.  I was quickly re-educated about the facts of liberal politics and it's danger to prosperity, freedom and liberty.

I began to observe politics more closely at that point, assuming my Dad was mistaken.  He wasn't.
