So Are Food Plots Actually Legal In NY

Baiting putting out mineral rocks (Trophy Rock) C'mere deer are illegal in NY from what I understand. How does does food plots specifically desinged to attract and hold wildlife not in the same boat. I am all for food plots, but is it really legal in the state of NY.

The clowns making policy at central tractor apparently don't agree. Tried to place an order there for some plot spike Forge Oats. I had a rep actually call me back and tell me their script about their company policy. They are missing the boat. Took my business to Gander, where bags of seed are stacked on pallets. Now, take 200 guys buying say 2-bags of seed and fertilizer - $$

By the way, C/T does have a handy hand operated broadcast spreader you wear over your shoulder that works well and much cheaper then the "branded" copy BPS & Cabelas sells.

Print that link out and take it to the C/T that wouldnt sell you the seed and ask to talk to a manager. Give them the print up and the link written down and let them know that they might want to read the law before refusing a sale.
