In response to cheap trail cam pics/dark or low light

These were taken as you can see in the dark same location different Buck

Nice pictures, I would be concerned with the range in those conditions though. That buck was posing up close, but it is not always easy to get them in so close. Even if its low light/night range is not very far, it can still be a great help to scouting efforts.

landowner gave me 2 wildgame cameras, he paid $49 each for them, cant get anything to trip them and gave them to me as a thank you for repairing a canoe for him.

I set them out Sun night and got 17 photos on the two, max range is 40 feet daylight and 25 feet night, the trigger is about a second. Not bad for under 50 bucks I dont think.

he was facing them to a 60 acre field not on runs, just facing a field. That's too far to trigger them.

Nice pics...in my original posting cheap trail cams pics I had other people respond what about low light and in the dark..well it shows that the cheap cam's get the job done..plus if they are stolen it does'nt hurt the pocket as much.

Not bad. Makes me wonder if you would need to bother moving cams around so much, being worried they get 'camera shy'.
