this darn grey just won't turn his head even a little towards the camera. this fox has done this to me 2x now. never sticks around for a 2nd picture either. lets hope there's a 3rd time?

Thanks; I agree with you and don't get someone wanting to exterminate a beautiful animal like a grey fox. Some people have no respect for nature.

I'd rather get a live picture of one than kill one.

Yea, I love the behavior and appearances of foxes. I have a good number of photos of them, but my camera does not have such clarity and vivid colors.

What camera is that buy the way? Looks like it uses a flash, but has a very impressive photo.

the trailcam that captured the fox is a home made unit refered to as a homebrew. Is has a Sony 6 meg camera (S600) inside. These trail cams units are commonly built by a host of people and also offered for sale by many.

Yea i know its real cute untill it has your cat in it's mouth.And a lot of people look at a monster 12 pointer as a beautiful peice of nature to but im shure you would still shoot it right,,Now is that any better.People got to stop using their opinion so strongly because in my life your opinion don't matter ...Sorry if the truth hurts

As long as we are sharing opinions... I would say cats belong in the house. Any fox that is killing cats is a friend of mine. Cats destroy small game and song bird populations. You are right, people can do what they please as long as it is within the law. I just don't like killing without a purpose, and foxes are a beautiful animal.

I have been considering building a camera, just not sure about the cost yet.

When i say dogs that I mean "wild dogs".I have a pet dog and yes i love pet dogs but dogs that run wild in my back yard or one that could possilby do damage to me on the way into the woods in the morning is a goner.
