NYARCHER76
I have a question that maybe some of you guys on here can answer ??? I currently hunt a working farm in western NY and have a section of woods that border a field where cow sometimes graze. As we all know, deer a lot of times push through the electric fence and cut the power. Now with this fence having no power cow will push through and get into the woods a little looking for food or to get out of the weather under trees. How BAD will this disrupt the deer hunting and do the cows at all scare the deer or change there patterns that they follow. I have seen the cows and deer in other areas of the farm feeding in an apple orchard together , but was wondering if any one had any knowledge about this. Happy Hunting and Good Luck ! TreeGuy
No real science in my answer, but I can't tell u how many times I have seen deer feeding with cows, or walking through a pasture loaded with cows. I would guess it shouldn't disrupt ur hunting though. Either way, if u shoot an 800lb deer, enjoy those backstraps !
RifleSharpShot
Ive seen deer with cows,,I'm no expert but i don't think that should have that much of a affect on the deer movement good luck!!
the blur
I'd say if you make a mistake, you have a very pissed off farmer.

sampotter
As a dairy farmer- I would be a pissed off farmer. I have had cows all around and walked with 20 yds of deer before they noticed me though. They don't care. When I was a kid we had a buck trying to breed the heifers. Guess he liked 'em big...
