Anyone hunt north end of Whitney Point reservoir? Dorchester park? I hunted waterfoul there last year and saw plenty of deer sign?

We had some fun at daylight for an hour or less woodys mallards and a greenwing..... unbeknownst to me it was also pheasant opener. We counted 80 shots between ducks and pheasants before the flight slowed tremendously and we packed up. I hunted the res. A few times, alot of common mergs. And some geese. Few puddlers. Mostly easy access with my kids and we usually get a bird!

Nice.  You hunted from shore, or did you need a boat?

Shore, I've got a boat, only ever wanted it during flood stage. 2 dozen mallards and blacks on Texas rigs. Bigger spread when im closer to the car along the west shore. Would be sweet to.have couple dozen floater canadas.
