Grand Gorge 6 pt

I just got back from Grand Gorge. I just bought the property last month and I got my first deer there. It was a nice 6 pointer, he walked right up to me within 30'. I didn't have a perfect shot so I waited until he walked away from the high grass so I could make out his shoulder. He was now 50' away from me and in no hurry to run. One shot my season was over by 7:17 on opening day. Great place great time. The rest of the time I had to hang around the house with the wife. The meat is already in the freezer and the head is getting stuffed. Cant wait until turkey season. Didn't see any bears but the place is loaded with scat and tracks. I didn't see any coyotes but heard them every night running around. The gut pile was gone the next day.

Can't wait to start building a pond for fishing.
