Have a Winchester model 70 , 270 win. any idea how old or when it was made? Ser. # G948516. thanks for any info.

Call up Winchester. I had a question regarding a Savage I bought of someone who had done a bit of modification on the rifle. I called Savage up and gave them the serial. They told me the make and model, etc right over the phone.
