bubba
Has anyone had any experience with these? My daughter got me one for Christmas 3x9x44. I am thinking of mounting it on my 45 ml. Any good bad or indifferent. Edited January 4, 2012 by bubba
phade
I can't say I've had any experience with them for deer hunting, but I've tinkered with a few for my shotguns. They make some decent turkey scopes. My father in law loved the red dot but ended up with a center point that has illuminated crosshairs. Probably not apples to apples but it'll do the job. I wouldn't expect Zeiss quality from it, but you probably know that.
bubba
I am a nikon guy normally. She bought this one for me, ad I willuse it. I mounted it on my encore 45 ml barrel and bore sighted it tonight. I guess I will hopefully try it out this weekend. I have acenterpoint 3x9x32 on my ruger 10-22. I like it also. Dinsdale
I have one sitting here thats supposed to be on a Turkey gun; I should get that on and see how it does. I sat with the daughter of Tru Glo's owner on a flight from Dallas to Reno a few years ago for a hunting convention. The same company that grinds glass for several manufacturers does theirs too......She logged a ton of miles for touring facilities and overseeing manufacturer specs. So although they operate at a price point, they were trying to get the most for the money. Funny part: she was cute and I'm a sucker for southern accents, I told her what booth I was at for an outfitter friend of mine. She came by and was looking to go out for dinner, I was at the hunt auction for an hour, and the ding hole I was with didn't tell me til' the next day.......opportunity lost. (But I did buy the trip I wanted at a steep discount; LOL)
