Quick duck stamp question

I was just browsing around thinking of possiby goose and duck hunting later in the year or next winter. How does the duck stamp work ? do you have to basically have a tag for every waterfowl killed or do you just buy one and your good for the season ?

just the one stamp, buy it at the post office( some walmarts had em too) make sure to register and get your HIP # also.........sign the stamp put it on your license

Make sure you sign across stamp...very important

Don't buy it now, the Duck Stamp does not expire like a hunting license on Sept 30th. I think a duck stamp expires in June 30 if I remember correctly. So buying one now for the fall you would just be wasting your money.

I read somewhere on there about that but it was backward its said july30 to june first or something weird

Well in the September early goose season you need the new one, if that helps

Just one stamp, put it on your back tag or in your wallet. Just pay attention to your bag limits!!

your going to need the stamp come out in June get them at most post office's

then in August your going to need the H.I.P. number from D.E.C. you do that on line.

and of course you all ready have your hunting lisen's

you can only shoot steel bismuth or tungstone most of us use steel shot I use # 2 for ducks and BB for geese winchester you can get them from " ROGERS . COM" they deliver to your house and you save about $30 with them good luck with your hunt
