It looks like it's going to be a Remy 700 versus the Winchester Model 70 in the championship game.

My two deer rifles happen to be a M70 lightweight in .280 Rem and a Remmy 700 Mountain rifle in 7mm08...

What a dillema....<<grin>>....

I suspect I could hunt the rest of my life with either one and have no complaints..

Actually...to escape your dillema...You should give both guns to me, and start over!

You can't beat the Remington 700. You can even take the new X-Mark trigger and drop into a 40 year old 700 and it fits (and works) perfect.

I use the 700 VTR as my deer rifle so my vote on which one will come out the champ is bias.
