BKhunter
I have an electric grinder that I use to make sausage, and I have been thinking about buying a seperate stuffing unit. I was wondering if it is easier to stuff sausages with one person using this machine and if it would help in the process. Feedback is much appreciated. Gizmo285
I have both a #22 commercial grinder and a separate stuffer for sausage. I would have to say I can stuff 5x the amount of sausage with the stand alone 25 pound stuffer. I purchased them both from Gander MT. I have used the stuffer for making 200 pound batches of sausage at a time. The Grinder is fantastic for grinding as the stuffer is best at what it is made for. Uncle Nicky
The initial investment in a sausage stuffer is a little painful, but once you start using one, you will wonder why you wasted time doing it any other way.
2GRIT
The last two posts are great advice. Figure what you can afford and buy one a little better than that. You'll not regret it. And read reviews. There are a lot of choices these days and not all are worth buying
