Grouse has a point about folks adopting, "if you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullsh!t". I don't see as it's restricted to the left, but then I'm pretty squarely in the middle. I appreciate fancy words as much as any academic, but IMHO if you can't win your argument in plain-speak, then maybe you should rethink your position. I'll walk that statement back to the extent that sometimes there are particulars that require specific knowledge to appreciate - but good use of analogies can substitute for years of education lol.
