Pictures of turnip plot

Here are some recent pictures from the trail cam of the turnip/Broccolli Rabe plot, they seem to be growing nicely.

Very nice. are the deer eating it yet?

They are nipping at it, but I dont see any major eating just yet. Next to that you can see in the picture we have a clover plot and we are now trying a new thing this year in that we are mowing the clover plot in strips as opposed to mowing the entire clover plot. We hope that the non mowed strips of clover will keep the deer happy. We think that had we mowed the entire clover plot the deer might begin to eat the turmips to early waiting for the clover to re-grow from the mowing.
