Big Scam these days, dress up a little girl in a Brownie Scout Outfit, send her up to ring the doorbell, and the driver of the car, watches, no one answers, little girl goes back to the car and your packages, (from Cabella's) goes down the road. Let's see where this topic goes...

Getting Lost in a fenced square mile
LongWayFromHome replied to LongWayFromHome's topic in General Hunting
Even a small NY cedar swamp can be a true challenge. But we never get lost, we always find our deer. It's hilarious. How about the call by some frantic weenie about not knowing how to gut a deer? Figure it out say I... after being told what an expert hunter and rifleman this looser was. keep laughing -

Twist Rate versus Bullet Weight
LongWayFromHome replied to Elmo's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
If it aint broke, why break it ?? 117 grainers work fine. But I have never killed a deer with it. Gotta make a pilgramage back home... now we can use rifles? simply amazing! -
It's the season for a real good laugh. I'm in my shop working, having fun and staying warm. The bloody electronic dog leash goes off, I recognized the number, so I answered. This raving lunatic screaming that he is lost, hysterical and he needs to be rescued. 1 section = 640 acres, or, 1 square mile. This weenie had permission to go out and look for a very dumb mule deer buck, because this piece of property had a large population of deer. The whole place was fenced, and this Bozo going off the deep end about being lost. I told him to find a fence and keep walking. Big city Cabela Boy, gets lost in a fenced square. Let's have some fun with this. P.S. His permission was permanently revoked. I'm still laughing.

Twist Rate versus Bullet Weight
LongWayFromHome replied to Elmo's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
I have a .25-35 Win., with a 1-8 twist bbl. The 117 grain bullets fly jam up and jelly tight. The lighter slugs don't do well. I can have the rifle easily re-barreled with a 1-10 twist. Any opinions A/O advice ? -
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Everyone has the right to have their own point of view. Come with an immigrant visa to the USA and complain till the cows come home. It's got nothing to do with intent, everything to do with the rules and the letter of the laws. Lamentfull that anyone has to be subject to this Folderol, but ask yourself who made the rules and who put into effect the laws. A hug can get you fired. Welcome to the USA !

since it was bequested to the town,, sounds like a liberal act of stupidity, take the value of your 20 acres, divide by 4, take that sum in cash and lay it on the counter at the clerks office. Tell them you want to buy it now, and no ebay joke intended. argue the point the 5 acres will stay "forever wild", instead of developed into an eyesore. happy thanksgiving.

you fellows have great thanksgiving.
