Typical , I sat in my chair in a hedge watching the cut corn until dark , 500 yards away at my ground blind in the woods a nice doe goes right by my blind

Wow,,, maybe my next one will be higher .. We have NYSEG electric and natural gas .. Heat is 68 day, 65 night Gas range , water heater , furnace , elect dryer , 2 people

The news said avg NY gas and electric bill is over 300.00 ??? Really ? I live in a 2200 sf two story house , two people , NG furnace , range , water heater Mine is usually 200 or less… Maybe add in kids ??? 300 seems excessive ,,, but so does 200

Yea but read it again , says fireproof BUT plastic case is acceptable

I’m hoping it doesn’t get any worse .. its really not THAT bad , 25 Degs and lite snow , heavy wind .. Power just went off for 5 minutes Guardian generator fired right up ! Go lots of food

I moved one cam yesterday to the edge of the woods facing the goldenrod field . I had two does show this morning walking the edge

One year I took my tractor with the FEL and scrapped the snow off the clover .. They hammered it … at 3 am

Agree dam snow is all crust i saw 6 tonight , 3 in the cornfield that spooked then on my way out of the woods two big does but they were out of range then another single smaller one. walking right across a goldenrod field

I’m getting movement early morning late evening everything after dark

I spooked three does walking in just now they were in a corn field about 300 yards away this snow makes walking so loud

Killed a decent buck with the crossbow and now I’m trying to get a doe before the end of ML saw a nice doe yesterday but couldn’t get a clear shot .. seeing them on my camera but always after dark i know one bedding area but it’s hard to get to it quietly maybe after this week off they will start moving again
