How about a black eye

So I’m reading to wear all black waist up in a ground blind .. My coveralls are dark navy blue .. Readings say deer see dark blues better than we do so wear all black I would think camo would be best but they say all black .. Im sure some will say colors don’t matter

I raked the path to my tree stand and both ground blinds yesterday so I can walk in quietly Funny , I just got done taking the path to my treestand , got in my Jeep and the camera goes off , a buck was there must be curious as to what all the noise was.. It was like 2 minutes later at most

He never pursued it any further

So I went up just now , moved the camera and raked the trail to my blind so I could walk in quiet Walked back to my Jeep and my camera goes off , small buck at the camera looking around

Or I was also thinking move my trail camera to that area and see if I can pattern him .. my ground blind isn’t brushed in too well but it has trees around it and it’s been up two months

Three nights in a row a big buck has come about 50 yards from my blind . Last night he came closer but tonight he stayed away Im thinking of moving my blind closer to the spot he keeps showing up .. Not sure if that would spook him ?? I grunted tonight but he ignored me .. My buddy said he never grunts when he sees a buck , he uses his doe bleat can

So I’ve read pros and cons ..not sure if it’s too early to try it but… I put the scent bomb bottle out tonight Had a nice 6pt come in behind it but never got too close , then had a nice doe come pretty close , she blew and took off..’ Now I don’t think the rut is on here in the fingerlakes yet so maybe it’s too soon to use.. Then I wonder what’s really in the stuff They sell millions of bottles of this , how the hell are they collecting this much doe in heat urine ? Just doesn’t make sense …. Just like all these sprays , they are chemicals … I would think deer would know they are not natural Any experience with Tinks 69 good or bad

It’s about the hunt not the price of the meat .. let’s face it , factor in license , guns, clothes etc and it’s an expensive meat . Like fishing .boat , Rods and reels , fuel, etc I don’t look at it in dollars and cents

Ha yea this is far from that , it’s in the country , no gas , water , cable , sewer etc It can’t be subdivided due to lack of frontage .. I think he overpaid but … there is nothing around here for less with that kind of acreage

Yea this is in the fingerlakes and you Will not find 60 acres for less.. at least I’ve not seen it . I wouldn’t even call it prime farm land , it was planted at one time but hasn’t been for years . There’s a 22 acre of here I liked that again had very little woods but boarders farm ag fields .. 130k , and they don’t last long, You get people from the city or New Jersey and a couple guys that want hunt land , that price is nothing ! The days of buying land for 2k and acre or even 3k don’t exist .. at least not around me
