    I hunt a couple small 25 acre plots that I have exclusive rights..I’d like to find my own land. I prefer near Cayuga County. I’d also like to find a nice 2000 sf ranch in the same area . Housing prices are wicked high so I know I will have to pay up. Im in my 60s so I figure I may as well do it now. Is Realtor.com my best bet ? Id even entertain leasing but there is nothing in this area

    So it sounds like even bow hunting you have to wear orange ? Do you have to leave it on in the stand ?

    I’ve always used Winchester 100 grain and been happy. My boss just gave me a box of Hornady 95 grain SST with the red plastic tip Think there’s much difference between the two ?

    Forget assessments, houses and land are selling way over assessments , Buddy near me in the fingerlakes , Cayuga county just bought 58 acres, mostly meadows , small amount of woods, no gas, public water, or cable He paid 250k

    I actually did it three times ..once I folded it and got it like a taco shell it kinda folded all by itself .. Pretty slick

    Rhino 75 vs Ameristep doghouse anyone have the Rhino ? They are 30.00 cheaper than the Ameristep but the same size , look the same ??

    Yea but the path in will be covered with leaves after October 1st I have my stands up, just need to tighten the straps I loosen after the season. I will put my ground blinds up ASAP but probably not until October when I can get there .

    This year I’m going to take or leaf blow the path I use to walk to my stand they the woods. Im in 7J so no leaves have fallen yet ..I usually put my ground blind up and trim shooting lanes etc a month before gun.. This year I may not get to it until 2 weeks before

    They have a house on one acre that borders this pc 60 acres

    Well AGAIN , the new owner wants NOBODY on the property except me !!! I was willing to let it ride EXCEPT during hunting season . And no I don’t hunt Turkey with a rifle , but I don’t hunt them with a bow either ! Not a lot of fun Turkey hunting an area to have someone come tearing they in a quad !

    ?? No rifle Here’s the deal … the new owner doesn’t want anyone back there , wants me to post it and I can hunt it. For liability reasons he doesn’t want the kids or other hunters . He wants me to post it all. If the guy with the kid that rides asks me I’m going to say off the record I don’t see anything . But , I’d like him to stay off the property from October to December. I will be Turkey and deer hunting there. If he gets hurt and tries to come back on the owner , the property will be all posted

    Yea the land is a great spot for deer, the neighbors do t hunt but there is a guy that does and he take some very nice bucks off from it I’m more concerned about the 4 wheelers and having them there while hunting

    Yea I’m hoping this doesn’t go that route .. I don’t think it will be a problem but time will tell
