We are looking too... I have a small home now in the village but I want a more modern / newer home with a few acres of land or lots of wooded land. Prices are crazy now and it looks like we will be spending 350 to 400k in this market . Im willing to pay up for the right place..we have the money and no kids so it’s time to enjoy the fruits of our labor.. Our house will sell easy .. I’m sick of neighbors being so close .. Wife retired 2 yrs ago had state pension and ss I’m still working but pretty much set my own hours and they pay me good I’ll be 62 this year

Ok I have a new Leupold and a Bushnell The Leupold is going on my shotgun and the Bushnell is on my 243 When adjusting the turret on top says UP with an arrow This moves the point of impact UP correct ? Not sure but I think the scope on my crossbow is the opposite ... Having a brain cramp

Yea that’s another thing I’m trying to avoid .. We have the money to do what we want but I want to make a good decision. I see too many leave here and a few years later come right back . I want to settle and stay out for e rest of my life... Just not sure where. The thought of two houses doesnt thrill me either .. Renting and let someone else do the maintenance ?

I don’t care if I ever see snow again .. Trouble is I’m right in the lake affect area south of the tway . I know Ithaca gets half the amount of snow we get but it’s still cold. Not sure the answer .. it’s just wife and me and dog . She doesn’t mind it as much as I do . I can’t imagine myself dealing with this another 10 yrs or however much life I have left

I like spring , summer and fall in the fingerlakes but this constant lack of sun and the fricken snow has taken its toll on me .. Im 62 years old and sick of it ..seems like I spend all summer getting ready for winter . Shoveling , snowblowing , driving in this crap ... Im sure my wife is sick of listening to me bitch about it .. Not crazy about Florida and even if we went there for winter I’d probably be constantly worrying about the house here... Not sure what the answer is

Agree, this Camillus Heat folder is a great knife, will cut the rid cage open easy ! Razor sharp but a huge pain to clean .. The dimpled handles and open cavity’s for folding makes it an hour clean up. Im going to a fixed blade
