  8. We are trying to buy a house with land, I’d like 50 acres give or take.. Woods and fields ? I know what ever we buy my wife is going to want to walk our dog there too. Not during bow or gun season but wouldn’t that push the deer off the property
  9. Well roof companies use it to melt ice in aluminum gutters with no issues.. But again , you are not putting the gun into the container .. Ive used it for years and zero issues. It does exactly what it’s supposed to. Removes moisture and keeps my guns like brand new !
  10. I’ve got a line on a nice one now .. trying to come to terms
  11. Yes ! Suggested get a plate steel model not tac welded sheet metal container .
  12. It never comes in contact with the metal , it’s in a small container and absorbs moisture .. Done it for years .. works great https://gunsafecoach.com/how-to-keep-a-gun-safe-dry-and-moisture-free/
  13. Yup to protect just a “ few” guns it would be kinda crazy .. Again, there are areas of the state and different circumstances where a security camera is worthless
  14. Yes, to each his own , and I have asked a State Trooper , they advised in MY situation a real safe ! cheers
  15. I heard of several buyers that offered the sellers cash to leave the safe . I even changed the combo on two of them
  16. Well in a perfect world that’s a great idea .. Talk to a NYS Trooper and ask why this idea works for SOME areas but is not without flaws in OTHER areas ..
  17. Yup , I cut about 3” off the barrel of my 357 Rossi due to a bulge I cut it with a hacksaw and reworked the crown with a brass round head bolt. Shoots perfect !!!
  18. Yea I’m looking at a used one now ...
  19. All considered residential storage containers... Again better than nothing , I’m just looking for something stronger
  20. They have done it for years with zero issues
  21. I put a container of calcium chloride ice melt in my safe .. It keeps the humidity at below 50 percent
