  1. You most certainly haven’t called me out. You’re just whining and claiming that a large cohort of hunters aren’t hunters because you say so. That’s hardly a response worth dignifying.
  2. Jesus, this is like pulling teeth. Are you asking me if doctors and scientists have ever disagreed? Early advice to not wear masks was based on incredibly nascent information and in order to preserve supplies for front-line staff. A well-managed response would have been much clearer in explaining this. There is an overwhelming amount of evidence that strongly supports mask wearing for the prevention of Covid infection.
  3. When Trump campaign officials and advisors are charged and imprisoned, you stop calling it a hoax.
  4. LOL! You're like a cartoon character! Thankfully not everyone is as obstinate as you.
  5. Don’t know what you’re talking about, I read plenty on China. The burden falls on you to find reputable news sources. That of course takes effort but I guess memes are much easier to consume. You certainly don’t “open your eyes” by dismissing real journalism and embracing conspiracy theories. China and Russia are absolutely pouring disinformation into our media landscape, most of it in social media and in non-reputable news sources. That knowledge should make work even harder to find well-sourced news outlets and to not succumb to seductive conspiracy theories.
  6. http://sportsmenandsportswomenforbiden.com/about-us/ Check out The Sportsmen and Sportswomen for Biden Committee. It’s comprised of a “collective of Democrats, Republicans, and Independents that formed to protect the interests of our wild spaces in North America for hunting, fishing, and shooting sports. This committee is made up of passionate hunters and anglers to speak to the importance of our outdoor heritage.” Look through the rooster, it’s a terrific group of hunters and outdoors men and women.
  7. That’s a very slanted read on the numbers, especially since the majority of contributions come through superpacs and it’s incredibly difficult to trace back the funding sources. There are systems in place (in serious news organizations) to promote transparency and prevent bias. Don’t mistake journalism with talking heads. But what you’re seeing goes well beyond the ever present left/right tug-of-war and the need for campaign finance reform. Have you ever seen this many prominent, life-long conservatives endorse a Democratic candidate? That should alert you that what think is merely a liberal media bias is not actually correct. Trump is inept and toxic and we’re witnessing an unprecedented cross-party unification against his administration. Let’s hope the results hold in November (or whenever all the votes are counted up).
  8. Any seeing their hunting license and tags in the app yet? I'm not.
  9. You’ve just disclosed your fundamental misunderstanding. Scientists don’t discredit each other based on what they believe. They instead subscribe to a system of rational disbelief which employs the scientific method to disprove and to approach the truth. Disagreement based on evidence is different than lying to discredit scientists/doctors whose findings are politically disadvantageous to you. The difference is like night and day.
  10. Yeah, and I couldn't find replacement brushes anywhere at the time
  11. My carbon icon came with a 3 prong whisker biscuit. One of the prongs always wore out quicker and it ended up throwing off the shot. Switched to a QAD drop away and no issue other than felt having to be replaced.
  12. I wanted to say that I took kmartison up on the offer and hunted geese with him last weekend. He’s got it figured out up in the finger lakes. My dog got a nice retrieve in the swamp. Some better shooting on my end and we would’ve gotten a nice pile of geese. I had a terrific time and learned a lot
  13. My HIP finally arrived. The HIP number doesn’t seem to be anywhere on it. You can find the number online hidden in the new ordering system.
  14. I got it too. But I think I paid extra for it. Maybe not?
  15. God this is dumb. I’ve said it repeatedly, there are intelligent arguments to be made on the right. This isn’t it.
  16. Congratulations on your retirement, sounds like a great party! You're reaching in your interpretation but I'll let you have it. Consider it my retirement gift to you, along with the article which I hope you enjoyed.
  17. I'm so sorry to learn about your brother in law's passing - my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I hope that your nephew has a speedy recovery.
  18. I hope everyone is enjoying Labor Day Weekend and that you were all able to spend some time outdoors! ...some thoughts on labor and democracy: Elections evoke emotion and drive partisan-based polarization, by design. This isn’t new, but the fairly recent advent of the internet and social media has made it easier than ever to become siloed in a virtual fantasy of our own making. I encourage everyone to travel and to interact (safely) with as many different types of people as you can. If you do, you’ll quickly find that The Other isn’t as different or radical as we’re being led to believe. Avenues and interests such as hunting provide the remarkable opportunity to do just that – to meet people who may appear to be wildly different than you but who share in the same love and passion for the outdoors. I’ll share this terrific opinion piece that points to a gap in the Democratic Party (really, in politics in general) and highlights how Joe Biden is optimally positioned to bridge it. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/09/02/opinion/education-prejudice.html
  19. Trump’s corruption and ineptitude was recognized early by both Democrats and Republicans. Which Trump lie are you referring to? https://www.forbes.com/sites/davidmarkowitz/2020/05/05/trump-is-lying-more-than-ever-just-look-at-the-data/#5e8ea5bc1e17
  20. Weird... you forgot the "feel free to copy/paste, I sure did" bit Don't vote Trump for the military and veterans, they sure aren't.
