Well bill did good called in 2 birds . I goofed up didnt let them get in close and got excited shot low . Killed a tree . Ughhhhh. At least I didnt laugh . When they were in the tree gobbling I was laughing then they flew down and i got ready .

??? Till garden . Lay down cardboard ( pizza boxes beer boxes boxes ceral ) then a layer of black cloth over it . Works great no weeds . No grass cut a spot out for your plants .

When I do my garden I put down cardboard and cover it with the black paper. It works great . No weeds.

When do I start my potatoes doing potatoes towers this year . But not sure when to start them.

Ok bill has me set up for my first turkey . I know how to clean it. I was just wondering can you do it like I do my pheasants ? I clean them by standing on the wings and pulling up everything comes out and I have a nice clean bird . Can I do that with a turkey ?

I had bought a bunch of eggs from some one to try and hatch and only 2 hatched most didnt hatch . The ones I didnt put in the incubator the neighbor wanted eggs. He was like why did you color the eggs . I had to explain to him that chickens lay many different colored eggs it just depends on the breed .

This is great . It is almost like collecting guns . Because now I want a chicken that lays blue eggs and olive colored eggs.

And I just saw alot of the hatcheries are not shipping out chicks now because of the slowdown in shipping chicks are dead on arrival. The 2 day shipping is taking 3 to 4 days now .

Well guys get you chickens and eggs now. Just saw a chicken egg farm in Minnesota. Just shut down . They had to lay off 300 people . they killed 61,000 chickens and sent them to dog food plant .. so sad .

When I want to put them away I feed them bread and call them My husband thinks it is funny but as soon as I start calling them they come running . And I just throw pieces of bread in the coop and.in they go .
