  1. To be honest, I didn't even hear that part. I think I was so focused on the gun questioning, that it didn't even click in. Nonetheless, putting the soda thing aside, I do agree with the questioning on the gun rights. My guess would be that it was a jab at Bloombergs idiotic soda ban, concerning the soda comment.
  2. Geno, I actually agree that Cuomo looked like a loon in that vid. And, while I actually don't dispute that we should hold ourselves to higher standards, sometimes you have to play their game in order to win, if that makes sense.
  3. And, quite frankly, all the "special interest rights" prove the left's methods work, while ours have been a complete failure!
  4. Tell me what you call this. This is why the left will always get what they want-because we're always too damned worried about being civil, instead of putting a boot up their a$$.
  5. Geno, I CLEARLY saw the idiot Cuomo push his agenda, and go well beyond hyped up about it-it's right on video! As to whether they would think that we're nuts, or not, is irrelevant. The mere fact that we own guns, in their minds, makes us "nuts". As far as I'm concerned, this guy did it the right way. If we should have learned anything by now, it's that the "appeasement" way has been disastrous for gun owners, as recent history shows. Unless, of course, you like more restrictions on your rights-THEN the pacifistic approach works very well. It's kind of like dealing with a bully-at what point do you realize that the time for talking is over, and that the only way to get the bullying to stop, is to fight back?
  6. Actually, I think Jason Mattera did it the right way-hit them right on the spot. Amazing how dumbfounded they seem to be when you do that. Love it!
  7. You can also check this one out: http://www.airgundepot.com/airguns-remanufactured
  8. Plenty of other reasonable options on there. I deal with them exclusively. There is another option for you! Try airgunsdaily.com. They tend to sell refurbs (which can actually be better, since they're totally rebuilt) for some very reasonable prices.
  9. I'm thinking that the Benji Nitro is more than likely too big for your sons. I've never seen a Benji Nitro in a youth size, but I could be wrong.
  10. This is really good deal, if you need 2 different air rifles-for $219.99. http://www.pyramydair.com/s/m/Dadz_Kidz_Combo_Crosman_Nitro_Venom_Raven/2517
  11. Try pyramydair.com. Tons of choices over there, within your budget. If you search the net, you should be able to find a 10% off coupon for them also. The Benji nitro's are a good option. Most notably, in cold weather. Cocking effort, and size of the gun, of course, is an issue, when it comes to your 9 year old sons. Are you getting 2 different ones-1 for your sons, and one for yourself? If so, the Nitro Venom/Raven combo is a good deal. You'll get 2 air rifles for just a little over $200.
  12. Oh really? Then please tell me the difference between banning, and taking? I don't even own one of your so-called "assault weapons", but I carried many while in the Army. http://news.yahoo.com/assault-weapons-ban-announced-congress-faces-uphill-battle-171358623.html Tell us what the intentions of this administration are, according to this article.
  13. Well, I'm not going to speculate on the weapon used, but I do wonder as to how the ME couldn't determine how many boys, and girls he autopsied, when asked during the interview. Pretty unusual.
  14. #6, or 7.5 low brass is what I use. Works fine for me.
  15. Thanks, Stretcher Guy. I'm going to check that one out!
  16. Just simply can't afford an expensive bow. Any input from other forum members would be great.
  17. Kent state?? Days, and days of being hit by objects, burning down the ROTC, making death threats, and acting just like the idiots in the L.A. riots in later years? These same pos spit on our soldiers coming back from the war, and everything else. It was far more involved than a "peaceful protest" by these damned hippies. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kent_State_shootings
  18. Actually, this creates a big problem for King Cuomo. In the last paragraph, the Sheriff is clearly stating that they are obligated to protect the Constitutional rights of the people-ALL PEOPLE. That clearly sends the message that the Sheriff will side with the Constitutional rights of the people against the state. It would literally pit the Sheriff against the State Police, concerning confiscation of a legally owned firearm. This opens up a Pandora's box for the left. This ought to be interesting!
  19. Apparently, in the minds of the liberal loons, they will be considered "illegal", and they will be confiscated.
  20. Yep. Especially the Sheriffs, who simply don't agree with going against the 2nd Amendment.
  21. Doesn't surprise me in the least! No offense to the ones who serve with distinction on this forum, and truly uphold the oath. http://statepolitics.lohudblogs.com/2013/01/23/police-chiefs-support-new-gun-laws/
