  1. No way! It can't be true-the liberals said this would never happen! (sarcasm, of course). Next, they'll be telling you what furniture you can buy for your house! Welcome to the USSA (United Socialist States Of America).
  2. Anytime punks like this feel like coming to my domain...... http://www.examiner.com/article/des-moines-columnist-calls-for-repeal-of-second-amendment-death-of-gun-owners
  3. Never had a problem with the Powerbelts. However, the Aerotip certainly shoots much better than the hollowpoint. There's no question the Powerbelts are NOT full bore diameter. They're designed that way. The "cup" at the base expands upon ignition. I have had issues with pass throughs, though.
  4. Typical liberal double standard! http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/01/02/us-usa-guns-newspaper-idUSBRE9010R820130102
  5. Wasn't the president the one who ran on the platform of taxing only the "rich" the last election? I agree that some RINOS voted for this crap, but the majority of Republicans didn't. I would certainly think that Obama wrote this "tax 'em all" plan himself, right?
  6. Apparently, even Hollyweird gets a tax break-but NOT the working stiff. This is an excerpt taken off of Yahoo. Hollywood: The bill extended a tax break to the film and television entertainment industry for one more year. The tax incentive is meant to encourage production companies to film in the U.S. The provision costs federal coffers $430 million in potential revenue—which is something to remember when you spend $15 on a movie ticket. Who in the hell voted for this loser?!
  7. No disrespect, dbone, but this paragraph tells a whole different story, and the income doesn't even come close to $400,000. Households making between $40,000 and $50,000 will face an average tax increase of $579 in 2013, according to the Tax Policy Center's analysis. Households making between $50,000 and $75,000 will face an average tax increase of $822.
  8. Unfortunately, we won't even get remotely close to climbing out of this debt in our lifetime.
  9. I'm trying to figure out as to how this justifies his "Only those making $250,000 and above will see tax increases." It's also interesting to note that the lower middle class, and low income families will face new taxes. Doesn't this contradict what he's been claiming all this time?
  10. Well, it would appear, once again, that Obama was full of s***. For those who thought that only those who make $250,000 and above were getting taxed, get ready to open your wallets. His claim that 98 percent of taxpayers would be protected from new taxes, is way off. In fact, over 77% of taxpayers are going to see tax increases! http://www.mail.com/business/markets/1795088-despite-deal-taxes-to-rise-americans.html#.7518-stage-hero1-2
  11. The fact of the matter is, that most military members would side with the people. The military is STILL overwhelmingly conservative, and would not go against the people that own guns. I know a lot of Army guys-who are still in, from my time in service. They absolutely despise the left, and would have absolutely no problem joining the pro gun citizens. They are sworn to defend the Constitution, against ALL enemies, foreign, and DOMESTIC. The government, and the military, are totally different things. Quite frankly, there is not a lot of love for the current government in the military.
  12. Hell, Elmo, I know you own a Benji. You must have a little knowledge on airguns, LOL. Can't wait to get out small gaming, since the deer season sucked. Got any extra stew meat??
  13. Hatsan. It's the same brand as the one I brought hunting that time. I believe it's the 1000 series.
  14. That would be Collector Rifle & Ammo. Charlie's pretty good.
  15. Seriously considering buying this .25 air rifle. It's only $100, which is damned cheap for a .25. Any thoughts?

    Sick?

Same here. Just can't shake the damned cough!
  17. Interesting to note, that 4% of all violent crimes are committed by mentally ill people. That still leaves 96% that commit these crimes, that don't have any mental illness at all. It's also noted, in this article, that there was absolutely NO Proof, that Lanza had any mental illness at all. Having a son that is Fragile X Syndrome, who's as harmless as hell, I take offense somewhat to the blame game on the mentally ill. It's a broad definition, that falsely labels harmless disabled people with an unfair label. History has shown that, by far, the WORST serial killers had no mental illness whatsoever. While I concede that schizophrenics, and people who are bi-polar, can be violent, my experience working as a therapy aide, at Harlem Valley, showed that some therapy aides, who most certainly had no mental illness, were far more violent to the patients, than the patients were to them. These "therapy aides", would beat the patients, until the patients would literally commit suicide. I found a few patients hanging from the rafters during my employment there. Ironically, I had no problem with the patients. I also worked at the VA, and PTSD was fairly commonplace. There were some vets from Vietnam, who were totally shot-never had a problem with them. Anyway, enough rambling. As we know, I am FAR from PC. However, I don't play the blame game, either, because those who aren't PC don't do that. http://www.daytondailynews.com/news/news/national-govt-politics/no-easy-solutions/nTcLg/
  18. Wow. We got at least 5 inches here on Creek Road. Heavy crap, too. Where do you live, that you only got about an inch?
  19. I was skimming the channels, when I happened to run into that show. I watched a small portion of it (as a rule, CNN is banned from our TV). Piers Morgan acted like a punk. He was yelling at the gun rights guy, belittling him. The guy had more patience than me. I would have beat his a$$. Morgan is an idiot.
  20. It looks like The Guide is still selling ammo, but a lot of it is on backorder.
  21. I don't know, but I do know that Dicks has stopped selling certain items. There's a boycott against them on Facebook.
  22. Just checked Sportsmans Guide. Unfortunately, their on back order big time.
