  1. I say we fly a plane over them and drop more flags for them to burn. They'll be gone in no time!
  2. Have to give credit to Burmjohn on finding this one! Thanks John!
  3. Pakistani protestor dies from smoke inhalation after burning US flag! I love it! http://now.msn.com/abdullah-ismail-pakistani-protester-dies-after-breathing-smoke-from-burning-us-flags
  4. While up at camp this past weekend I put together a folding sling stool with a thick seat pad which i attached with straps. Felt good and comfy. Going to give it a whirl on 10/1.
  5. Welcome to HuntingNY. Good place to ask questions and learn a lot. Great bunch of people too!
  6. Sorry to hear about your toe. That was me last year one week before bow. I hope it heals soon. We did finish. It was just two of us hit the road early and we were going nonstop from 8:30am until dark on saturday. Set up a new stand, new blind, set the cameras, cleared brush from existing stands, and stacked wood in the garage to keep dry for the season. Ended the day with a huge bowl of linguine with fresh tomato sauce from tomatos picked from the garden, drank lots of homemade wine and smoked a nice cigar sitting on the deck overlooking the sun setting behind the mountain.
  7. Easy to do. If you are on a computer and you are posting there is an "attach" button where you can browse for a picture on your computer and attach it to your post. If you are on a mobile device the easiest way is to set up a photobucket account where you can upload photos then copy the image link and paste it anywhere in your post. The picture will automatically appear in your post.
  8. I like the orange contrast. This is the only camo gadget I have. I'm not into camo wallets etc. i decided on the otterbox and this one caught my eye. - Jordan Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. while using it to control my Looxcie video camera, I had $20 in Staples rewards so I pulled the trigger and bought an Otterbox in Realtree camo with Blaze Orange today at staples. I think it looks cool. Hopefully it will protect my phone this coming season.
  10. Why thank you Paula. I'm sure it's a lot prettier than looking at my big nose! LOL!
  11. I butcher the meat and vacuum pack it myself and drop off the hide at a taxidermist for tanning. Doing it myself brings me more satisfaction with the entire hunting experience.
  12. 13 days to go oh my!,

  13. Welcome to the forum! Good hunting to you! Be safe!
  14. Congrats and happy birthday to your teenager. Mine is half-way to 16 - made principal's honor roll since 7th grade, does varsity cross-country, track, fencing, karate and she still finds time to be interested in boys. (Shh! I'm bragging too)
  15. I'm in Columbia County. Thanks for the advice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Does one need a special tag to hunt/kill bobcat in NY or is a supersportsman sufficient? I know there are no bag limits from what I read on DEC website.
  17. Hitting the road at 6 am tomorrow to head to my hunting camp. Planning to move some stands, set up blinds, clear shooting lanes, pick the tomatos from the garden, sit on the deck and drink 21 yo single malt and smoke some stogies.
  18. I did that too two years ago. Had my 9 yo boy pee in a mock scrape and used store bought Pee and put it into another scrape. Set up two cameras. I never thought the deer would go to the one with human pee over the other. Go figure!
  19. Yeah but it started in 1986 when Lybia claimed responsibility for bombing a disco in Berlin where it killed three people--a Turkish woman and two American soldiers. The bombing injured some 230 people, including several dozen U.S. servicemen.
  20. Wait for it... Wait for it.... Oh damn i was too late! LOL
  21. I went from regular lenses to progressive a few years ago. I too felt weird looking out at the world with three different levels of power. It took me about two weeks to feel comfortable wearing them. Been through two different pairs since then. Now when I take them off I can't see or read anything up close but can see at a distance.
