  1. I have a King Kutter Professional 7 ft back blade for sale for a tractor. I haven't used it much and thats why its for sale. Hardly used, heavy and ready to work. I was looking to get 425.Any questions email me or call. 440-3793. Thanks John.
  2. I think the older deer are very nocturnal. Thats why they live so long.
  3. The other buck in the pic looks like his son. Quite symetrical.
  4. Caught these on my cam. The big one has a pretty high rack already. Any guesses on age???
  5. Old post but I just openend a tube of venision sausage I vacuum packed with a food saver back in November. I had it in the freezer and let it thaw in the fridge. Tasted better than when I first made it. No freezer burn or anything. Just FYI..
  6. Thanks for the reciepe. Looks fantastic...
  7. It probably cost me 400 in materials but it will last my lifetime and my grandkids should enjoy some good times in there. I finally got to concrete my post. I pounded rebar in the ground about three feet. Then I encircled a 5 gallon bucket with bottom cut out and a slice down the side around the 2 doenhill post for a form. It worked out well and the stand doesn't budge.
  8. It took me about a week on and off by myself. I had to haul all this stuff little by little up a steep hill 1/3 mile back up in the woods. I was putting in 6 hrs or so pounding nails and hauling stuff till I got her done. Was well worth it and my fingernail is finally growing back..

    Joke

It doesn't matter what you call him. He won't be able to come when you call him.
  10. Made 2 racks of ribs yesterday. Came out delicious..........
  11. The back 2 posts on the upper side of the hill are in the ground about18". The downside posts are on big rocks at this post. I am going to concrete all 4 eventually.
  12. They still make them. They have different versions. CI Grates or SS grates. Get the SS everything and it will last many many years of great grilling. I use mine year round.. You get what you pay for..
  13. Iused 2x8's for the band and put a ledger board on the inside of it. I then nailed and screwed the 2x6 floor joists to the band as they rest on the ledger board. I used 6x6's for the bottom posts that the stand rests on and 4x4 posts for the framed structure. Two of the 6x6 are set in the ground because of the slope of the hill and the other 2 are sitting on rock. I'm going to quikrete the posts next time there...........
  14. I shot a lot of deer from this area so I hope the wait isn't too long. It's mainly for when my grandkids get older and I can introduceduce them to hunting..
  15. Thanks for the tip. I'll check out the store...I was thinkin Velcro to hold the bottom down..
  16. 1. It's better than getting wet! 2. It is 6x8 inside with 48 inches to the bottom of the shooting windows with a 1ft gap fpr the opening itself. 3. It is 6'2" to the roof from the floor. I fit and don't plan on growing any taller...
  17. It took quite a bit of hauling and a lot of rigging but I finally got my deer blind built. I made it all out of PT wood. The bugs were biting but I just kept nailing.
  18. I also have the Weber Genesis in SS. It is one of the best cooking grills I have owned. I also have a Weber Silver that is 12 yrs old and still going strong.
  19. I have trail cams guarding my country property and I caught a few intruders. Pop Can Buck and a turkey over by the log bench.
  20. I think if everyone used a 9mm pistol for deer 90% would never be found after being shot by the average pistol shooter. I don't think it is fair to the animal to not have a fast kill the higher percentage of the time. Not saying it can't be done but it sure wouldn't be my preference.
