I feel that the broadhead vanes are slightly wider than the fieldpoints... I'm thinking I should shift the rest a hairs to the left further to allow a tad more clearance. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk

I draw righthanded Also please bear in mind I'm new and have been shooting for only a month First 20 yard group after readjusting rest and sight Further adjustment 20 yards. 30 yards 1st broadhead group 20yrds 2nd group 20 yards broadheads Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk

This the issue. They sweep back to far and hit the side of the bow. But not the riserSent from my D6708 using Tapatalk

I'm at 31inch draw and 49lbs Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk

I am also taken aback by the generosity. Having Noone to show me "the ropes" I have been picking up alot of info from this forum. I'll measure the arrow length from tip to tail when I'm home.... But I do have a 31 inch draw. Moog are those 1 1/8 diameter? I believe these ramcats are 1 3/8. So I think those magnums may clear. I have some 125 fieldpoints as well. Is 125 to heavy for my stl hunter 200s? Pse radial weave. Address inbound incase they are suitable. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk

Lol nope... Dozen arrows. 3 broadheads at $40. 2 Quivers(1used at $15) Peep(installed). Accessories added. New cam. Cam install. Hip practice quiver. Nocks. Batteries for old sight. Field points. 2 releases. One a bit too small(used15$). Arm guard..... I think that covers it. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk

Actually the shop said I'd be fine with the ram cats and the arrows.... With the bow in hand... The bow. Sight. And rest were all hand me downs.. Spent about 350 getting a dozen arrows the bow tuned a peep. The stuff installed a new cam installed and quiver... Wifes a bit miffed at this point. I hopefully the shop will let me get just 3 arrows since the last batch are too short even though they were an inch longer than the initial 6 I got from a different shop Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk

Thank you Grampy!!! I thought the fishtailing was due to being off center....I'll re-enter the rest/sight and then pick up another set of ramcat replacement blades and 3 longer arrows. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk

Rome NY. I can get the rest/sight back where it was with no issues. So I should probable go see if I can get 2 longer arrows. Cheaper than a new set of broadheads Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk

So I can't afford another set of arrows right now. Will the 1inch diameter blades be sufficient? Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk

So the 1inch diameter cutting heads should be fine...? In terms of lethality? Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk

Once adjusting the whisker biscuit to clear the bow and then adjusting the sight to match the biscuit. The only noticeable issue is the tail waggle. Till she righteous herself.. I just had the bow into the shop for them to help me get my first pin close. They also installed a new peep and did a general check for safety. The arrows are probably a tad short to accommodate the ramcats and riser... However my budget is blown for the season. I suppose it is possible that the head still catches at some point during the release. As it is drawing past the bow. How far can I kick my sight and biscuit to the left and still maintain good flight? I'd say I can probably get another 1/8th of an inch and be comfortable. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk

Mathews switchback 31inch draw 49lbs. So I have a set of ramcat 100grain. Running pse stl hunter 200s With nocturnal nocks. I am shooting 3 inch groups on my 100grain fields with standard nocks. They fly true. I went to adjust for the ramcat and as expected they hit about 2-3inches lower. Which is awesome. However I had other issues. The ramcats don't fit my quickee 3arrow quiver too good.. It's a tight squeeze and they must be indexed properly to guard the blades. This isn't a huge deal for me. More of a minor annoyance. The real issue is that the blades hit my riser on the right side. So I had to move my whisker biscuit and then sight a full 1/2 inch to the left to account for this. 40 minutes of trial and error and resighting later I have it back on target for 20-30 yards. And the broadhead just clear the bow.. Now I notice that the first 10 yards of flight there is massive deviation in flight before the arrow tracks true. The back end is all over the place. What is causing this? I have a set of 100grain titanium eastern outfitters true fixed broadhead. However they only have a 1inch cutting diameter. Should I swap out for these as they will fit my quiver better? Also I lost one of the ramcat blades on the first shot and i Dont like how I need.to tighten the Allen screws after every shot. I like the concept of the easy front flipping blades on the ramcat. But they may be more trouble than they are worth. I don't think my setup will allow for mechanicals. Please advise. 30 max. 25 preferable. I doubt I'll ever get out farther...though longer practice is fun... I also am extremely conservative and desire clean efficient ethical kills. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk

God I should have gotten my bow going sooner.... Thank you for the help as usual all. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk

So a total of 5 possible deer?Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk

I am looking at the regular book and still not sure Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk

Or rather... What am I looking at in terms of available takes? 1 either or for bow or muzzle. 1 antlerless for bow or muzzle 2 doe tags... Used bow/muzzle/gun? And 1 gun buck tag? Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk

So I have 2 dmps, a muzzle. A bow and standard buck tag. I've read the Dec site and I'm still confused... Bow privilege does not allow another deer. Just allows me to use the bow and if successful I would fill out my out my regular license buck tag? Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk

Ifollowing the trend of last years deer season... I got this morning to hit the same area I've been going to. This time setting it a different spot from where I called in 2,birds last weekend. No dice... Had to pack it in early due to commitments. Great season though. I can understand "deer fills the freezer, turkey fills my soul" anecdote. I might swing out tomorrow for a late morning woods walk. Something I have not don't yet this year. Next weekend is booked for backpacking. Thanks for all the help guys. I'm looking forward to sleeping in soon! As much as one can anyway.
