ok that might be a personal misconseption but you will have to agree that bowhunters do buy a lot more stuff... not saying its bad or even nessesary but to me xbow is nicer...

bowhunters are always buying new rests, sights, strings, ect ect ect xbows dont have that cost

VERY TRUE!!! the point is for a new guy like me bowhunting looks hard and expensive, a xbow makes it cheaper and easier but at the same time gives a taste of bowhunting (close ranges ect) Just my thoughts

Nice! as elmo said there are quite a few of us down your way (im way up in jefferson county) you gonna do much/any deer hunting? im not a bow guy but a few people on here are...

could us NYers go down there and do that? do you need a PA address? if so would a PO box work? (gotta find EVERY loophole in the system!!! LOL) and would a PA permit be any good up here?

hunting license? if thats what your talking about i can tell you right now it aint gonna happen.... i AM gonna hunt in NY this year and am NOT a fan of hunting without a license... (i believe we had a thread on this a few weeks ago) also please introduce yourself and become a member of this community before you go starting threads of this nature... Thanks and........... Went to the QDMA meeting w Kip Adams last night.... very informative!!! learned a lot, got to meet Rob, Larry, and John... got home at 1:30 this morning.... -
yeah he cant wait to be out shooting deer and turkey next to me.... ive taken him out turkey hunting w me a few times.... we have a blast together! it was really fun.... hope to come to another one again sometime!!!
