im pretty sure you can shoot it on the ground.. and being ethical id also say yes as long as its a clean shot... had about 15 turkeys today at about 40 yrds couldnt get a shot though

yuup. just read that.. didnt see elmos post up there... if putnam starts getting to crowded with people with guns im going to head over to westchester so i just wanted to get all the info right

what if i hunt westchester county though during regular season.. its bow only in that county, so would i be able to use my bow/mz tags?

was going to get there around 5.. ive found a bunch of good spots though.. only thing is im sure im not the only one who has found them :/... i need to find someone with land i can hunt on

was in all morning saw a doe at like 6:30 about 50 yards. and i chased around 15 turkeys for a good half hour couldnt get close enough for a shot. going to try and get out tomorrow morning before the army gets out and get a spot lol.. what about in westchester its bow only?

can i still use my tags for either sex and antlerless for regular season? they say bow/ml on them so i just want to make sure

Went I'm from 6:30-10 didn't see anything.. Going to go back out in 30 min try another spot... I know they are here today. Just a matter of where the are going

was supposed to go hunting with a buddy on his land this morning.. no word from him yet. so looks like ill be going to public land for last day of bow.. hopefully i can get something before the guns hit the woods

he doesnt hunt yet.. just getting him into hunting and fishing. next season he will be out with me, i will have my own gun by then.. might even have a cheap 20g for this gun season
