I use the wifi trail cams you can get on amazon, and mount high using step ladder. You can then download the pics or vids to the app on cell phone and not have to climb ladder to check sd card. And no monthly fee involved. Also you can adjust camera settings thru the app, as long as your within 45 ft of cam.

I like having few cams out all year. In this case I have a few cams i put up at my friends cottage on Lake Ontario for security purposes. This cam got a pic of a fox with a pheasant in its mouth {pretty sure the pheasant was a stocked bird from the adjacent state park that has stocked pheasant hunts[ Having an extra set of eyes is cool to see when you least expect it.

I was out this morning with a friend in 9A and it was dead, no sightings and only 1 distant shot heard. And the trail cams showing nothing in a week. Where are they?

I miss the early morning breakfasts that dotted the area on opening day, it was part of the ritual. Not many of those around anymore.

Up in stand in 9a. Corn has been cut. It's 52 and windy. Hope to see something cruise by.

Farmer showed up started cutting the corn, so pulled the plug and be back out on weekend. Nothing showed while in the stand.

The garbage has been piling up for almost 4 yrs and it smells so bad! Time to put the garbage in the dumpster where it belongs!

Up in stand in 9a, pretty good gusts of wind. My friend is on back side of property. Buck came past stand around noon. Hopefully we will see him make another trip thru.

They want more illegal aliens, inflation, crime, open borders, weak military, loss of gun rights, restriction on free speech, corrupt justice dept and a lot more. That is why the sheep vote for more of it. They want it. -
I received weekly newsletter from State Sen. Robert Ortt office and it states the bill is ready to be signed, having passed the senate and assembly. Now it is up to Hochul to sign it and make it legal. Until then it will be illegal to use rifle for deer hunting in Niagara County.

Looks like temps are going to be in low 80's for 9A early season opener, to warm for me.
