we got out there about 530 AM saw the birds working we were throwing ever thing we could but the dame fish were just out of reach we used clams and bunker stayed there till 1230 and caught nothing but a sun tan we did make breakfast and lunch while we were there. papabear

got a call Sunday at 730 am to see if I wanted to go fishing got on the water about 830 there were four of us on the ride out to get some flounders we saw the birds working got to them in a good time throwing 007's we stared getting the blues I picked up six good sizes blues ever one was getting hits after we got out full we went out to try for flounders which we could not find papabear

no week ends yet I might be going this saterday if i do i will call you

Just wanted to know who use's this set up I never tried them and was thinking of making a few up this week and wanted to know if there any good for bass ad blues also should i use 50 lb test or wire leader in the tubes and what colors work best papabear

Note: Pursuant to legislation signed by Governor Cuomo on March 31, a recreational marine fishing license is no longer required to fish in the marine district of New York, including fishing for migratory fish from the sea (e.g. striped bass) on the Hudson River below the Troy Dam. Therefore, a recreational marine fishing license is no longer required and anglers should not purchase one. The new law establishes a no-fee registry to take the place of the marine license. DEC is currently developing the registry, and expects to have the new no-fee registry in place in early June. In the interim, saltwater anglers may fish without a marine license and without registering with DEC. The new law also directs DEC to refund the cost of a lifetime recreational marine fishing license to those who bought them. Refunds for lifetime licenses are expected to be sent out during this calendar year. There are no provisions in the newly enacted legislation to refund other marine license fees. Additional information regarding the registry will be coming shortly.

this is what happen they stop to get gas in Conn. he went in to pay she went to get snacks when they came back the GPS was gone they got in to the house thought a back window they can not remember if they left the window open or not he had to get another GPS to get home he can not read a map and cant tell north from south he will not leave this one in the car and will not place his home address in the spot made for it he now has a gas station address there that is about a mile from his home papabear

Yes it did he never could read a map I tried to teach him you know north is all ways on top and so forth he gets lost easy so he got a GPS and place his fishing spots and hunting spots on it him and his wife went to Conn. to gamble and stopped to get gas on the way home when it was stolen from his car funny thing he had to get another one to get home too papabear

For all of you that have GPS. with your HOME on it. I recommend you delete your address off of it and just place it in like a regular search .My buddy had his stolen in conn.and figured he was OK because it was out of state two months later his home was broken into they took every thing and left the GPS on his kitchen table with a THANK YOU note his neighbors saw a white van in his drive way for three hours that said Maid Service so they did not think any thing of it. I bin told by more then one DEC officer that there not going to be enforcing the salt water fishing license. today I was told by 4 officers that i should get one that other law enforcement offerers will be checking for them. if your going to fish salt water spend the $10 and get yours I picked mine up today . papabear

I teach hunter safety and I will be happy to do a class for you guys so you will know right from wrong. even a 12 year old new hunter knows better them to walk on some ones property with out permission. papabear

hay why not just ask the land owner for permission to hunt there Thats what I did took me all summer and now I have a spot to goose hunt on 25 acres of private land I am the only person out side there family to hunt there he even went as far as putting in a pit blind or me to fix up any way i want his own son-inlaw and grandson don't hunt it with out me there just ask it amazing what could happen papabear
