thank you the information I went out today but the brant did not want any thing to do with us going to try again next week Papabear

I was on Main street in James port hunting a sod farm papabear

went out today to hunt on the field that .I had pulled 3 deferent groups of geese about 20 to 25 in each group two hunters and four geese we each took one goose from the first two groups the last group was coming in and cupping as we were picking up the decoys flared at the last second papabear

Went out today with a buddy of mine put out some mallards and 11 geese decoys all ducks were flying high no shots but I had one goose calling so I answered it he answered back we talked for a few minuets till he was cupped and committed took one shot and dropped him oz [my lab ] bought it back only bird we got today but we had a fun day. Brant were all over they were landing in the goose spred can't wate for next week papabear

I got up a 5 am looked out the window and could not see across the street back to bed then around 230 I got ready went to do some duck hunting got to the river and there it was again so think I could not see 100 feet in front of me I put every thing back in the truck turned around and 20 yards off the shore 3 geese flying just over the water nice and slow I could have kicked my self jumped in the truck and went home well try again tomorrow morning but I am going out Wednesday on my buddy's boat papabear

Yesterday I got to take a young lady hunting for the first time I lent her my 12 shotgun showed her how to shoot we sat in the pit for 5 hours saw two geese flying high I tried to use the flags and some calls but they just kept on track she had a grate time and said she would like to try again For a demarcate she was very opened minded and enjoyed the morning if she did not have to go back to school I think she would have stayed all day or at lest till we got a goose she wants to try again Papabear

ok I talked to some one I know in the DEC and it never happen if it is a real deer it's not from New York and defiantly not from long Island papabear

dad gave me a 16 gage hunts man shot gun that he picked up in sears in 1958 when he moved to long island used it to hunt birds right down the road from us in West Islip from 1958 to 1964 when they put up the houses I still use it once a year papabear

I almost had me black lab OZ stolen from my truck two times once when I was getting hambergs for lunch the girl behind the counter saw me pull up and she told me a guy and girl was trying to take him out of the kennel the second time I was shopping for dinner for the wife and me when I was coming out of the store I saw two guys walking to there truck carrying him in his kennel when they saw me they dropped him and took off. I now lock the kennel door and lock the kennel to the trucks cap. papabear

I got this right from D.E.C. in a E-Mail today it seem's every few year's they change a few county's from shot gun to rifles. and now there adding on the three point rule. I talked to a few guys from kingston were they started the three rule and at first were against it now they seem to think its good there deer are bigger and the racks are more . papabear
