Southhaven County Park - Can you deer hunt there??

a few years back they caught three guys hunting in there with bows they confiscated there car house and every thing else and the three hunters and one of there wife she droped them off were all heavily find. and i herded Gill lets a few guys from a hunting club go in there to shoot a few deer some turkeys and ducks too for a wild game dinner they have papabear -
thats a good spot during the first half of the season after that it just OK when it rains I do a lot better with the puddle duck the geese don't fly over that there any more they stay by the house and parking lot bufflehead's stay on the other side of the river papabear

I got to go out on Sunday Jan.30 got out late 930 am went with my buddy's younger brother and his two friends on a 14 foot duck boat I got two geese and one black duck lost two bufflehead's every one had a good last day papabear

i was at the park and seen a farther let his daughter feed a fawn the doe got nerves went after the kid and hit her in the face with her front hoof split the kids cheek wide ambulance took her away papabear

Be came a grandfather tonight 1/19/11 My daughter had a baby boy tonight at 7;32 pm 7lbs 31/2 oz 20 1/2 inch's long mother and son doing good. Papabear

sorry for the late report Went out the other day 1/8/11 with a buddy last minuet thing had some sky-buster to our right flaying every thing off we had one goose coming down the river close to the shore right in my sights dropped her with one shot she fell in the reeds and OZ went and found her with no problems and she had a nice bracelet on when i get the information I will post it Papabear

was at Hecksher park a few years back saw a father give his daughter some carrets to feed a fawn told him not to but the dad new better well the momma deer saw this and attacked the kid she got a kick in the face cut it opened and they had to call an Ambulances for her "FATHER KNOW BEST" Papabear

Yesterday day 12/29/2010 I got to go on a nice sea-duck hunt with red head guide service it was a Christmas gift from Richie [FintoFeathers] we got to the boat around 7;30 AM Red took us out and set up the Long Tail [old-squaw] decoys Rich went out first in to the lay out boat and shot 5 birds my turn I shot 4 then they put Rich in again and he got 2 more for his limit they put me back in By the end of the day we got 14 birds grate day of hunting Papabear

On long Island we don't have too many Snow geese so getting one is kinda rear here papabear

went out east today sitting in the blind when 6 geese fly by went to land in the corn on the next field did a little call they came over two more calls they started to land I drop two OZ did a nice retrieve on both done for the packed it up Papabear

there right about the 130 gr. but if you want to see which ammo works best find out if any of your friends or some of the guys you know at the range has the same caliber if there willing to sell you a few rounds find out which shoots best most will be happy to help you papabear

you can but you still have to go though the proset of signing up for the shot gun hunt you can not just go out to hunt during the shot gun season "January" you can hunt with a shotgun bow muzzle loader on Long Island papabear -
I hunt with and most of the guys I know that water fowl hunt use a CARLSON MODIFIED extended choke for all our duck and goose hunting I find it works well. I shoot out at 30 yards any more then that. the spread of shot is too wide. Papabear
