This morning was slow for me. Had the one unidentified and a red fox. Sat til 10. 1230 I put up a new stand for next week on my day off. Have 3 choices now so I can stay out all day. Now I'm back in same stand as this morning questioning my sanity. 76 degrees and in a t shirt. Hoping door some dumb luck. What an awesome day today was. Sat for 3.5 hrs this morning and saw 7 doe and an 8pt who busted my movement. Went in early this afternoon around 1:30 and sat til 6. Saw 9 doe and 2 small buck and the bucks were chasing like mad. 19 deer today. Think I found my new favorite day to hunt. Sent from my XT1635-01 using Tapatalk

Back out for the afternoon sit. Maybe a little early but that's fine by me. Had a red fox trot by already. Does anyone else stand the whole time in their treestand or ladder stand and not sit? Had 5 doe and a button milling around since I got in the stand this morning. Button and fawn decide to feed and bed 15 yards from me. Then I hear the footsteps behind me and freeze. Yup he got my wind, but, he came back and with all the cover gone I couldn't draw. He walked by at 10yds and stopped 3 times and I was shaking so freaking bad. He was headed towards the fawn and his head was behind a tree but he saw me. Super exciting morning so far and a little bummed but going to stay after it. Good luck everyone out. Beautiful morning. Drove home from work the back way through the country and in the 25 minute ride I saw at least 15 to 20 deer all over feeding. Lots of small bucks and does and my wife even saw 2 bucks up by her parents house where I bow hunt. They were out in force with plenty of daylight left today. Slipped into a stand I moved last month on a 5 acre strip in Suburbia. Last night just after dark there were 8 doe bedded in the clearing below me about 70yds away. Not sure if they came down the peninsula I'm on but hoping they do tonight. Sent from my XT1635-01 using Tapatalk
