Four Season Whitetail's

Well there you have it...People on both sides of the fence..First of all i raise deer and do not hunt behind my fence,Second i have been on 3 fenced hunts with guys that were in desert storm and wounded.Untill you see a guy that has hunted his whole life and just killed a deer that he shot with a gun that he uses his mouth to shoot you have seen nothing..Third i have 3 active soliders on my 700ac each year and givin 2 dmap,s to use while here.You can bash all you want and we all have our own thoughts on the subject.Fourth redneck you seem to think you know we very well and we see that you know were deerfarmer website is and you didnt answer the question on what kind of animals you farm...Mabey you have a few deer of yur own that you would like to tell us about.Wish me luck as i am headin to my treestand..Good luck to all!!!!!!!!!

Google what you will and everyone has a right to voice as you feel.The next time you see a guy with no legs because he was fighting for our country with a deer is his hand that he shot at a high fence operation that he is not a hunter and never should have shot a deer that he otherwise never would have been able to take!!!I think there is a place and time that a high fence hunt is needed and accepted but then again just my thought.

I raise whitetails as a hobby with 7 acres fenced in with 13 whitetails!!We do not hunt on our enclosure!!!I am not so sure of where the future of high fence hunting will come into play but with no land,no deer,high tag prices, antler restricts and hunter age i am hearing of more and more people doing high fenced hunts.Trust me when i say that i can put you in a preserve and show you a single buck to take with the bow and 99.9% of the hunters could not take that deer.I know i have hunted for over 30 years and have taken many deer and a few book deer and i was offered the same chance and i failed!!!! It might sound like an easy hunt because of a fence but with bow and arrow its almost impossible to do.The deer behind that fence were smarter than most wild deer!!!

300wby and a mosburg 20 guage that is a tack driver with riffled barrel and rem copper top slugs!!!

Did my part tonite!!! I let an 8pt,4pt, and spike walk!!!I think the 8 was a 2yr old and mabey 16in wide.He was a good one but with 700 acres of soybean and corn on our land....There will be bigger!!!!!

So if you were put in a 1000 acre enclosure and shown a 300 class whitetail and were givin one week to kill that deer with a bow you would turn down the offer!!

Yup where do you think high fence hunting will come in when you think about ar,high fees, no land to hunt and very few big deer to hunt???

I took an 8pt in area 6g on nov 3 of 09 and he dressed at 202!!! That is the only one in over 30yrs of hunting and to many bucks to count!!That includes way to many yearlings to be proud of.Now they walk if not mature!!

Go figure,rain comin down in buckets so didnt go for night hunt.Drive around my area to check out the bean fields and what do you think is standing down in the corner where my stand is......Yup you got it a nice 8 point with mabey 6in brows..Go figure...13 deer in beans and rainin buckets!

I have recieved a tag for 8m for the past ten years!!!!I started huntin letchworth way back when they were called party permits and you needed 3 people to get 1 permit.Believe it or not there were twice as many deer back then.This year i got an 8m and an 8h tag looks like i am heading to the gorge again this year.....Cant wait!!!!!

I am sure pa is no different than ny!!Some areas have deer and some dont!!!The fellas i know are down near altoona and that is about 3 hrs from the ny/pa line!!!

Just take a look at the pa deer herd after they started AR it wiped out all the deer.shoot first and then ground check them.I have two guys comin from pa to hunt with me this year.AR is hogwash in most places.I think it would and does work in small areas that are controlled strickly!!Letchworth state park has a good thing goin with ar because it is under intence watch and there is some nasty cover at the bottom of the gorge where the bucks can hide and most people wont go after them!!! Thats where i hunt!!!

They would'nt but when they get cought on your land that would be another ticket for them!!!!

NY should make it a law for so much orange, say a hat and vest.That way it might stop some assclowns from hunting on your land when thats a no-no!!Mabey that would save a life or two but there is still some smucks that will go all camo and still sneak in and take the chance!!!

Yup do have some pics,but gotta figure out how to get them on here!!!I have some private land on the edge of the park near the perry entrance and see lots of turkey on that end but shot my 2 biggest bucks on the bottom of the gorge dowm trail 15.That 6hr drag sucks but its worth every second of it.The bottom is rough country but thats were the big boys hang out so thats where my treestand hangs out!!!

This will be the 4th year i believe!!!It seems to be working down there.I think with the law on the park there is less ground checking goin on!!!I have taken a 10 and 12 point the last 2 years bow hunting.The bad thing is now that the word is out it is hard to draw a permit to hunt there during shotgun season.They still only let 500 hunters on the first week and there was like 2000 hunters in the lottery last year!!!!!

Live in evans mills ny,Hunt on our 700 acres next to fort drum and travel to letchworth state park each year to bowhunt. AR is working on the park!!!!

Are you telling me that giving ANYBODY in nys 50 permits to kill deer at night with a light is not a problem!!!!!!!!I dont know where you hunt but we have 700 acres of soybeans and corn and i dont have that problem and my land boarders a huge tract of woods.(fort drum).I think the permits are way out of control.I have hunted alot of places and i have never seen a farm that has that kind of problem.I dont care who they are,most of the permits are misused and unneeded!If alot of the farms that have socalled deer problems were made to open up their land to other hunters you can bet yur sweet a.. that their deer problem would go away like magic!!!!!!

Yup its a known thing that happens and its on a state park!!!The park is about 30 miles from a good size city and i think alot of it comes from the city hunters but they will never get caught!!!They use the damadge permits all night long and they shoot anything,not just does like is to be done!!

Report to who!!!The state gives them the tags and the ok to shoot at night with a light!!!!!

To me ar is a waste of time!!!!I have found so many small bucks dead in the woods it makes me sick!!!People shoot them and then walk over and ground check them and see they dont make the cut and leave them lay to rot.If you really want to help deer hunting fight your ass off to outlaw damage permits to farmers!!I know some that get 50 permits and they dont want the deer so they go out at night and just gut shoot them so they run off and die in the woods!Thats bullshit!!!!Then when someone asks to hunt their land they just laugh at you and say there is no hunting and there is no deer here anyways!!What a joke!!!
