Selling a 2006 Guide series tech hunter bow... I bought it new from Cicero gander in 2007.. used it for 2 yrs maybe a dozen times in the woods with it... the rest was target shooting.... Who wants Yearling Buck Protection with ARs in their area?
donjohnk replied to Meat Hunter's topic in Deer Hunting
Im for AR... If been hunting PA for the last 10yrs. I like what I've seen so far. I havent shot a wall hanger every year but the group I hunt with does. I would like to see 1 buck a year before AR regs.- 320 replies

I thought to try that, but instead I bought an battery heated jacket for the long days in the stand late season.

Basspro was selling those before black friday.. sold out in a few hours.

? Not following you here ? If I kill a buck here, Im still able to hunt with a Gun. Not Like PA. Or Ohio.

Now why is that, not enjoying it or just way to much work for little effort? Not trying to bust stones, but my father says same thing. Back in the 90's with party permits he loved chasing deer around, now every hunter gets 2 tags no matter what, and just made the deer scarce in areas he hunts.

Yep, why you ask.

thats cause they dont wanna share the woods. Smart thinking . People not seeing big bucks wont pressure the woods like areas people are seeing big bucks.

I think totally opposite, Ive been hunting PA for 10yrs and I look forward to PA rifle than NY opener. Antler restriction did great for PA. The first 5 yrs in and already broke B&C records. As for the antlerless slaughter we can shoot just as many here in NY. I'd shoot does for meat and wait for that buck of a life time instead of shooting a 1.5 old 4 point. NYS has many great areas for whitetail, now just think if laws were changed like the 1 buck only states. What would we be seeing then.
