Some more If and when I use a scent it is at least 20 feet or more in front of camera's not anywhere near it. I sometime even spray the camera with scent killer.

You are allowed 1.5 oz. of lure or scent. You can use Anise oil, vanilla, honey, or any sweet smell. I have even used a packet of Kool aid sprinkled on the ground. I have also found they like the smell of Trails End 307 deer lure ( it has a sweet smell). You want it somewhere in front of the camera so he will stop and stay in front of the camera so you can get some pics. They also like the camera's themselves. I think they can hear the very slight klick the camera makes when it takes a pic. I keep my camera's in a metal security box and still had one broken. I get multiple pics like this one every year. This bear actually broke part of the camera that was not protected by the metal box.

I would guess a second year cub about 80 to 100 pounds. I cleared the pic up a little.

Acorns are dropping from the squirrels still small and wormy. Here in the southern Catskills. Wild Cherries dropping also. Haven't checked the beechnuts yet.

I start putting them out beginning of July and check them every 3 to 4 weeks.

I went back today and pick some of the chicken of the woods and cooked it up. It tasted good. It also grew a lot in 1 day.

I found this shroom on a dead oak log in the woods this morning. It should be good fried up.

Mine is a GE but I have had it since 1969 and it is still going strong. It is much quicker to use the electric knife when you have a bucket full of fish. I have filleted 199 white perch in 2 hours. That is from bucket to freezer.

Instead of water or soda I put in a can of beer.
