Hey all, are there any left handed shooters out there have one just sitting collecting dust in their safe? Iam looking for basic deer calibers; .308, .243, .270 etc. With or without optics (prefer with) This would be my first rifle so not looking for anything fancy Thanks in advance

anyone have any turkey decoys they would want to part with? looking for a Jake and a hen or two.

This will be my first year hunting turkey and was looking to be as prepared as possible for my opening season. I will be going out with a semi experienced hunter (girlfriends uncle) and was looking for a few pointers in addition to his knowledge. Such as what type of calls should I use and be practicing, and would decoys work in the fall? I know full camo is a must and stalking birds is useless, scent isn't an issue and scouting is very important. Im hopefully starting next weekend and every available weekend leading up to Oct 1 to get as good a read as I can. Am I missing anything? Anything else to consider? All help is very appreciated.

Been wanting to get into hunting since high school and at the ripe old age of 30 iam finally making some moves. Applied for my NYC long gun permit last Wednesday and i am also taking the NYS Hunter Safety class this coming weekend in hopes to be ready for the coming turkey and deer seasons. Hope my application gets processed in a reasonable amount of time, anyone know what the average wait time is in the city? Thanks in advance
