I like my marlin .336 JM...it shoots great out to 150yds,I like the feel of a old lever...I long shot for were I hunt is less than 100yds and that 200gr bullet hits hard

My Remington .270 is my go to gun..but having a lot of fun with my .35 marlin topped with a 1x4 leupold with the new hornady ammo it has become a tack driver.most of my shots are inside of 150yds I think the .35 will get the job done.

I hunt with a .270 and all I use is factory ammo at 75-150yd don't have to worry about a flat shooting gun,as for ammo my cheap federal power-shok ammo at 18.99 a box 130gr soft point shoots as good as some of the premium ammo and drops the deer no problem. sometimes I think at that range a .35 or 3030 would do the job.

I use powder you all my loads are in a plastic loader take no more time than pellets and you can also shoot what ever load you want were with pellets your limited >>>---> ED

Were I hunt shots are under 100yds and the .35 and .30.30 shine I have a .444 set up this year with a 2.5x4 low power scope can`t wait.

I have a marlin .444 most of my shots are under 100yds,and for a lever action its very accurate and at 240 gr nothing goes far.

Picked up a 444 marlin shot nice groups at 75yrds with open sites will try out this year most of my shots are under 100yds.

I have a .270 rem mountain rifle with 2.5x8 leupold my go to gun.

I shot this buck on a muzzleloader hunt in n.c Used a t/c encore 110gr of bh-209 250gr shockwave 175yds

I went on a muzzeloader hunt this year in N.C I shot a lot before I left,As guide said shots could be out to 200yds.I was shooting T/C Encore 110 gr bh 209 and shockwave 250grain.I shot a nice 8pt at 175 yds that was the longest I every shot a deer and it dropped right there.With more practice 250yds is not out of the question. -
Go for it shoot alot know your range.I use a recurve but also longbow sometimes nothing like it when you take a deer with it.

Black widow sa11 53 at 26inch with carbon arrows 125gr stingers up front.Made the switch about 6yrs ago and you guys don't know what your missing nothing like it.

Pick this up End of last year t/c white mountain carbine..50cal half octagon half round barrel.I'll be working up a load in a few weeks,This is going to be fun in the pine thickets.
