Good luck all, getting back in the stand this afternoon. Going to have to be a pig for me to even lift my bow.

I get that, however other states do just fine with the shorter season. Id be open to expanding a flintlock season or something like that, or even breaking gun season up into 2 different sections with a break in between.

I cant stand how long firearms season is here. wish it was 1-2 weeks kinda like pa is.

There could be a damn tornado and id go out sat. the breaks in the rain on sat are going to be phenomenal hunting. Freezers full and i'm looking for a second wall hanger and getting my wife out to get her first in the afternoon.

Just got back from my taxidermist, a lot of good bucks the last few days.

Good deer folks! I hit mine with the trophy tape and have 128 5/8”, hoping he don’t shrink too much and I measured right!

I hunted pa just over the border this week and 7p, it is full on rut chasing right now. 40 deer with 16 bucks and every single buck was chasing or trying to find a doe the last 3 sits.

We are literally 15 minutes away from each other.

I’ve seen more deer from 11-2 pm this week than I see some SEASONS. Stick it out!

What a great day, I’ve seen 40 yes 40 deer in the last 3 sits. Sit in pa about 1030 pm and immediate have bucks chasing does everywhere till about 2 pm then silent. 4 pm same thing starts again, a nice 7 pops out 200 yards away then chases a doe. This 10 comes out pissed of and chased off the 7 and followed the doe. Noting his aggression I smashed some antlers together and watched his reaction through the Binocs, he was pissed. Came on a rope to me and stopped at 40 yards. My longest bow kill ever gets me my biggest buck ever with a double lung shot.

Will create thread with story. My best buck yet.

A buck just RAN to the antler ice I put out. Just a fork broken off one side .

Been in stand in pa for 10 minutes already seen a spike chase 4 doe
