Not at all everyone gets their do Im not saying to shorten bow season this guy wants to shorten gun season and just so everyone know I use an open sight 30-30 an almost every deer I've harvested has been within 30 yards ...

Not very good I wish u luck but here the deer are so pressured people from up north and from mass will push opening day which can be frustrating when u plan your hunt and have done homework it becomes less and less deer every year because of more and more hunters from out of state and out of the area I Len it when I said people walk over each other

No offense buck a lot of the guys who push on opening days are from mass as well I see soo many mass hunters in NY are deer that hard to find in mass not being mean really am curious

Depends on where you go I also hunt columbia county and sorry to say people from mass flood the state land and it's very dangerous on opening day for that reason basically walking over people good luck and be safe

They are talking bucks though what's the herd look like is it actually stronger show me a study or something from the DEC that says so .... I agree bow hunter seem to be far worse with sharing the woods it's called greed there no problems with deer in NY I talk with a forest ranger everyday deer populations are rampant everything I see blames rifle hunters. If u want bigger deer antler restrictions work just as well as anything suggested in this thread

That's all good if u have a bow antler restrictions would be far better IMO ..... I only have a rifle and can't afford a bow I think it would be unfair to shorten gun season without shortening all seasons bow/muzzle

I'm broke and all I have is baking soda to wash my clothes in lol sound I run a cycle with just baking soda in it before I wash my clothes in it to try and reduce the scent from the washer also is there a way to descent a dryer ?

The quads ride around during the summer a lot more this time of year maybe once or twice during the season I don't think they like riding in the cold

Thanks for the replying my confidence got down a little when I saw them riding threw btw I'm. Not mad at the riders they are having fun it's to cold to ride most of the time but today was nice

Think they will scare the deer when they ride the only do so every now and then not everyday do the deer get used to it ?

Plus I figured doing somthing different might not hurt I figure 80% has tinks estrus in the woods maybe using somthing unique could benifit me

Will buck tarsal scent scare bucks away I picked it up to give it a try in a scrape but might not because my buddy says is scares deer away

I'm not saying it's the best way to hunt or anything but Everytime I've had the wind in my face and I know the deer should be coming from that way they always come from behind me should we have the wind at out back so at least I can see them coming I know it sounds silly but I big on scouting and doing my homework and still this seems to happen to me
