Dales should be listed as an IPA not a pale ale IMO Ten Fidy is one thick mo fo of a stout. I'll be having Death by coconut tonight. Coffee coconut porter from Oskar Blues that just landed here today Have you had Wake the dead imperial nitro sout by LH ? FYI on nitro : pour hard to get it working

The other 2,499 beers I've tried
-
Fletch, that's a good IPA. Left Hand puts out some good beer for sure Did you post a pic of that odd rack deer before ? Hit by car on opposite side ?
-
Younger is at brewery only with very limited tap releases there. Higher abv too . If I ever end up that way it's my job to try it ,lol
-
Well played. Hope you picked up or at least drank some Brasserie Dieu du Ciel beers while in Quebec. Just recently they started distro in NY though

You're killing me !!!

Could have plus contents could have been $70 Anyhow, whatcha think of the Pliny ? I thought it was really good and lived up to the hype.

Trade boxes I ship are routinely around 20 pounds. To NC, CA, TX and Montana. Never paid more than $30. Usually around $20. If you ship to a business it's about 10-15 % cheaper than residential too.

Ya, shipping alcohol via the mail is a no no. Fed Ex and UPS are not fond of it but I've shipped a lot of homemade salsa, pickles, olive oil, snow globes and lava lamps lol They really never ask what's in the box however.

Heady can only be found in VT and even then it's difficult to locate. I've had Lawsons Liquids Sip of sunshine from VT, another hard to find stellar beer. And Pliny the Elder from CA which is another unicorn. I got those via a few beer trades.

I checked with my friend who is very in the know on beer. Indeed no distribution to NY I did see it's available in Ireland in Epcot (Disney World ) lol

So this Sunday our 13 year old daughter ( one and only child ) is auditioning for a summer ballet program that if she makes it is gone for the month of July. She's excellent at ballet I gotta say and pretty sure she'll make it. We are in Buffalo area and she'll be in Albany area . I have to admit I am quite nervous about letting her go. I put the kibosh on it last year and really have to let her go this year. Between her outstanding talent in ballet she has excellent grades so this is her future and hopefully will get a scholarship some day. Her ballet school has 1-3 kids yearly that receives a full ride to college. So there's potential for her. I've heard there are college kids taking summer courses in the dorms these girls stay in. We won't know any of the chaperones and I do everything everyday to protect her. She's got a great head on her shoulders and no interest in boys. I'm sure I can get time off to visit once or twice but man am I going to be a nervous wreck for that month. Maybe 1-2 other girls from her current ballet school going. We're not helicopter parents by any means . Wondering how you'd feel about having your son/daughter leave for a month under these circumstances ? I'm going to miss not fishing with her for sure, our hikes , and her presence around the house. Now that I think of it, I'm going to be a mess.

indoor being Wolcotts? Not sure how old you are but do you or anyone else remember Leo's archery range on Transit rd in Depew by the HS ?
-
Just received this at work. Somehow this box maybe a little overkill for the contents.

It's very difficult pouring the Everclear into the Capri Sun thru that tiny straw

The left being the Capri Sun ? Watch it, those suckers sneak up on me

Had this last night. Very limited edition. Friend from beer store texts me when rare stuff shows up and holds a bottle for me.Bourbon barrel aged milk stout brewed with cocoa, coffee, vanilla, peppers, nutmeg and cinnamon. 10 % abv. Pretty good but not worth the price. Could have spent more time in the bourbon barrels

In the middle school we'd eat the crackers with almost all the cheese. Then scoop up the last bit of cheese with the red spread stick and fling towards the cafeteria ceiling. They'd stick there for weeks !!
