  1. Again you accuse me of doing something I am not! The simple matter is the laws already exist!
  2. Below is a chart of stop and frisks for NYPD in summery 38,177 arrests made and 38,177 summons issued, without stop and frisk those arrests will not happen!
  3. Ok first of all there is no proof of the statistic you mention. Having said that being stopped and frisked does NOT mean you are going to be arrested IE the policeman / woman is nice enough to let you off with a warning about your probable cause..... tail light is out, staggering home drunk gives you a ride home so you aren't hit by a car instead of taking you downtown to the drunk tank and issuing a ticket........ and so on. Last there is already as I mentioned previously laws in every state in the union which allow for that activity so what difference does it make if the federal government agrees with them, none do to the fact that states have long since ignored federal laws in the past and will do so in the future.
  4. The 4th amendment has NOTHING to do with probable cause which I outlined in all of the posts. Check the laws.
  5. Your basket is screwed up again! I DID NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT COMITTING ANY CRIME WAS OK! Stop and frisk is legal under any of the reasons I described and others. That's it. Now you are obviously trolling I am done.
  6. WHAT? Ok you missed an "F" , the difference is the person selling DVDs on the street corner is in violation of the law in front of the police! First it is illegal to pirate dvds, second he is in violation of public transpiration laws by blocking the walkway, third the police can ask him for his permit to sell anything in a public area and if he has none he is in violation of the law. All instances allow them to issue a ticket and check him for contraband, including but not limited to asking him to empty his pockets or frisk him. Now before you start babbling about no such laws do a search......
  7. None of the instances have ever caused anyone to be STOPPED AND FRISKED, none of that is openly standing on a street corner COMMITING a crime. Check your basket you have some apples in with your oranges!
  8. Have anyone of us been "stopped and frisked"? Answer NO, why you might ask because we don't look like or act like or maybe even known to be a criminal! If you are standing on a street corner with a box of illegal dvds or a cardboard with a bunch of electronics in it for sale and you are already violating a city ordinance you deserve what you get. Don't act like a criminal don't get stopped!
  9. Everything is aluminum but the foam so not much difference then when the regular seat is on it.
  10. Well I am shooting 70 lbs @ 325, and 40 yards is my max. I have yet to have taken a shot beyond 25.
  11. I can do either, my climber was a bit low when seated so I made a seat for it to keep me up during bow season.
  12. There is NO need to take a 130 yd shot, if he is half the hunter he is praised to be by folks on this thread he should have setup a closer shot. Can I shoot a deer at 650 yds yes but, I wouldn't make a habbit of it and most of my shots even with my rifle have been under 100yds a sure kill dropped in their tracks. With a bow 40yds and again I wait for the deer to get within that range or closer.
  13. That is a Milk Snake, the longest one was 30 inches they get into the basement through the old stone foundation and in the spring they get in.
  14. I take 4 or 5 of these out of my basement each year.
  15. Standing in my parents living room, I just walked in and was behind my dads chair watching the TV when the 2nd plane hit the tour, I turned to my mother and said we are under attack.
  16. As I don't own a camera I don't whisper at all.....
  17. I have been a member of different hunting forums over the years, some as close as this one and others out west Missouri whitetails among others, I have written columns for others. My main concern is that no one on the "other side" profits from anything I do. I joy the heck out of a good debate as some of you know from the other places and here. I am also NOT telling any of you what you should or shouldn't do with regard to the NFA site if you are a member, my decision is mine alone. John
  18. They do not delete accounts so I was told I simply am not going back, the forum was sold to a Canadian company and one of the high ranking people is Anti-gun and some of the income goes to fund those groups. I refused to be a part of ANY support of any anti group, with the number of hits on a site being a selling point for advertisement I have stopped posting there. If you go there, there is a post that starts out as "I resign as Moderator " which has been locked by the new company, that started me down the path.
  19. I have been a member of hunting forums for 20 years and have never before been involved with one that was sold to an organization that supports anti-gun groups. I cannot figure any reason other than to use what is posted on the site to cause problems for the gun owners on the site.
  20. I just left another forum because it is run by what is said to be an anti-gun group. I am going to miss the conversations I had there.
  21. Happy Belated Birthday, sorry I missed it.
