    anyone have any experience with pochuck or monguap state forests, im looking to do a 1 day this weekend before rifle wraps up with hopes of bear or a buck. with the warm weather not going anywhere id rather put some miles on the boots and not waste my time stuck in a tree for hours on end. anyone have any info or any other ideas were i could go?

    ill be at it tomorrow morning in salem, friday afternoon in purchase, and then the weekend split between salem and carmel. hopefully this weekend will be my lucky weekend and can nail a buck or a doe for some meat.

    that's not a bad idea and could be promising with the AR and you have the added bonus of possibly bear. buddy of mine hunts next town over killed a 421 bear this year and has countless 8 or bigger running around Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    just got a new piece of land 20 acres to hunt in Carmel land owner sent me a video of a beauty 8-10 right off his back deck trailing a doe from the other day needless to say I'm excited to get in there this weekend with the bow Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    haha i wish, i think id have a heart attack if i saw a 175" deer in any where in ny. shot that up in Saskatchewan froze my nuts off for 5 days but was rewarded with 175" of bone
